Children and Youth

Children's Ministries

We have a strong commitment to the growth, education, and spiritual develoment of our children. Through our children, we see the future, not only of our church family, but of Christ's Church as well. Additionally, we believe children are a welcome and vital part of worship!

Some of our activities are:

Nursery: We offer nursery for children ages birth to 2 years. We have a trained staff who is CPR certified. Children ages 3 - kindergarten are welcome to play in the nursery during worship. We offer Bible stories and activities.
Sunday School: From 9:00-9:45, our committed teachers engage children with fun lessons and discussion, followed by playground time.
FISH ( Faith in Small Hearts): Meeting on Wednesday nights for a program developed just for children that involves Bible stories, crafts, and games.
Vacation Bible School: Every summer we have a blast learning about Jesus in a new and fun way.
Scouts: We have a vibrant scouting program at FPC for boys and girls from elementary through high school.

Youth Ministries

Our mission for FPC Youth is:

To develop FAITH of young people
To TEACH and GUIDE youth in their daily Christian walk
To PROVIDE opportunities for youth to have fun with other believers
To OPEN their minds to ways God has called them by providing different LIFE EXPERIENCES

Some of our activities are:

Sunday Evening Youth Group: We meet from 5:30 - 7, at various sites.
Field Trips: We may have a pool party, go to a trampoline park, or play capture the flag at church.
Sunday School: Meeting from 9:00-9:45, we talk about ways we've seen God each week.
Devotion: We meet the last Sunday at a local resturant for food and devotion.
Summer Camps: Youth go to Passport Choices Camp in Spartanburg SC.
Mission Opportunities: We've traveled to Mexico to build a house, and find ways monthly to serve our community.
