FPC Stewardship 2024

The 2024 FPC Stewardship Committee has adopted the theme of "STEP UP" for 2024, inspired by 1 Peter 4:10: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

God has bestowed each of us with Time, Talents, and Treasures. Often a Stewardship Campaign only focuses on the latter. For 2024 with our beloved church in leadership transition we need everyone to consider how they can do just a little more with their time and talent. The emphasis is on small commitments. By themselves these tiny investments of time and talent by individual may seem insignificant but there is power in numbers. Many hands make light work. Choose to use your gifts to serve others.

There are many unmet needs within our congregation and the community. The Stewardship Committee collaborated with various church members, FPC Session committees, Deacons and staff to create a list of opportunities we can all consider honoring the chosen scripture. We are praying that you will commit to Step up by doing one or more small things found from a list of suggestions.

Stewardship Sunday will be held on September 29, 2024, at 10:00am in the Sanctuary. Immediately after the service we will have lunch in the Fellowship Hall. That will include chicken and pork prepared by James Granger and his group of volunteers.
